In a day and age of wrestling were all three of the Top Wrestling Organizations WWF, WCW, ECW push there talent to the limits to get the ratings there is nothing we wont see right ?
Well for the most part thats right with the big two WCW and WWF fighting it out on Mondays and ECW getting bigger and bigger it will only be a matter of time before ECW gets a chunk of that Monday Night Wars and to tell you the truth it is about time they do
With the WCW and WWF trying to out do each other and win the ratings the wrestlers are taking a beating the WWF did the "Brawl For All" and we know the result of that Steve Willians, The God Father and others that got hurt and now are out of action because of it. Why for come Cash a lot of I might add but was it worth it I dont think so.
The WWF already short on Wrestlers specially big name main eventers the Brawl For All has now put them even more short handed and to me the brawl For All at times were good but good is does not make up for the losses they now have.
The continuing expanding TV shows and more and more PPVS both the WCW and WWF are bring along there young talent as we see the WWF running training camps and the WCW Power Plant always working on there talent but what are they doing for these wrestlers that they have the WWF is notorious for not pushing there talent Vader, Merro, Jerrett, Dustin, Taka, may not be that young but are talented wrestlers that they have now and all of them have at one time or another have been main eventers or dam close to it look at Vader he went from being a monster to being nothing but a jobber and the others just dont do much
Now lets not forget WCW the thing PWR will admit is that WCW does a better job with there talent both young and older but the problem they have is that they have to many Main eventers that dont get there shots at titles, Eric as we all know spent Teds money and got the wrestlers he wanted from the WWF but what he did not thing of is what he was going to do with them all when he got them by far Hall and Nash should be getting title chances, we see that Bret Hart got his and he was not in WCW that long ?
Whats up with that Eric I thought you had to work for a title but then again in WCW its not so much of who you beat but the amount of A$$ you KISS
And then again cant say to much for Vince
ECW come on get some of this Monday Night Wars

Welcome to Beyond the Ring
In this issue of Beyond the Ring we will take a look at the state of wrestling right now both the WCW and WWF are pulling great ratings on Mondays, house shows are good and merchandise is selling like hot cakes but there is more to wrestling than that.
There is no better time to be a wrestling fan than now with both the WWF and WCW going to extremes to out do each other and the increasing TV coverage fans get to see more of the sport that we love but are we getting our moneys worth.
In wrestling to day the big contract that contains a lot of control seems to be the way to go but its hurting the young wrestlers that are going to be the future of wrestling, WCW has given Hogan almost total control over what he does when he does it and now the Warrior being back in wrestling to appear for 50 some shoes we know that he has been given some control over what he does Hall, Nash, were given some control of were promised titles when they jumped ship to WCW.
WCW put a lot of time and money in to getting on top of the wrestling world getting all of the WWFS top talent to jump ship has paid off for WCW they have come along way from what they were but as we see each and every week is the POWER CONTROL is getting to be to much for some wrestlers as some are just getting tired of being pushed behind Hogan as we have seen from Ric Flair he has said that RESPECT means more than a big contract and the Big contracts dont mean much when your not winning titles like Hall, Nash were did this all start ? Eric Bishoff and Ted Turner.
Eric Bishoff is obsessed with beating the WWF and he will do anything to try to beat them even controlling every wrestler he has (this is what drove X-PAC to leave) Eric in the long run will find out that the giving out the control and pushing just a few wrestlers will hurt him and WCW because there will come a time that WCW has to relay on the Young talent that he right know does not pay to much attention to.
The WWF and Vince McMahon puts a lot of work in to displaying what they have look at what they have done with SummerSlam there was a lot of hype for this PPV but its not just the work that goes in to the show but the wrestlers making a production of the show , take Gangrel his looking like a vampire spiting blood and so on the Oddities are another one just a group that for the most part does not wrestle and when they do they get beat. Vince over the years have changed his focus on what the WWF is he now calls it "Entertainment" and what he doesnt realize is fans want to see PURE WRESTLING were wrestlers go one on one till some one wins.
Vince has over come the loss of a lot of his talent to WCW, The Steroid Trial and The Bret Hart double cross but can he over come the week in and week out pressure from WCW the WCWS getting high ratings each week and the fact that the WCW puts on a totally solid NITRO show and Vince has moved his direction to an Adult show with beer and bad language will this help the WWF or hurt them in the long run only time will tell.
The state of wrestling right now is good (High Ratings, Good PPVS, Lots of House Shows) but it could be a lot better when Wrestling gets back to just that Wrestling.
